Hello, I am an experienced and enthusiastic teacher and tutor with over 17 years of experience working with children in grades K through 5. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in TESOL. I've been privileged to work with children who have various needs, from ADHD, autism, dysgraphia, second language learners and gifted and talented. With lots of patience, love, and sound pedagogical practices, I've seen each of my students thrive both academically and emotionally.. I have been teaching at a private school for 16 years. I needed to step away from full-time teaching to care for my family, but I have passion for education and would love to continue helping students another way. I have always loved classroom teaching, but the connection and progress made in one-on-one or small group instruction are magic. I am currently beginning my master's degree in math education for middle grades.
