I needed to step away from full-time teaching to care for my family, but I have passion for education and would love to continue helping students another way. I have always loved classroom teaching, but the connection and progress made in one-on-one or small group instruction are magic. For a student who is behind in class or not quite getting it, they may start to believe that math is "not fun" or that they are "just bad at it". I'm here to help students get AHEAD in their math class so that learning math will be relaxed and fun rather than frantic. I focus on drilling concepts with many examples.
