Sam V. says, "Kathy was able to raise my daughter’s ACT score by 2-3 points within only two weeks of tutoring, just by giving her practical tools and strategies that she could use on the real test. I definitely recommend Tutordel for ACT/SAT tutoring and would dare say that they care more about my daughter’s success than the big test prep companies ever would!" Read more

I have been a teacher for 5 years now. I started my career in special needs preschool and am currently teaching 3rd grade in general education. I use positive reinforcement to encourage students to complete work and motivate them. I enjoy teaching with interactive and engaging resources/materials. I have a special needs license therefore I have plenty of experience of accommodating student needs as well as reaching the needs of all learners. I believe that learning needs to be hands on and use a variety of materials such as technology, white boards, learning games, hand motions and songs. We stand out from our innovative approaches to tutoring online and in-person. Online Tutoring: Students can record their sessions to review services. Our platform saves tutoring notes for sessions so that they can continue their tutoring lesson instead of “restart” every session. Our services can be run on web browsers. Students can access the tutoring sessions on their computers and phones. In-person Tutoring: We cater our tutoring base off of the manner that the students learn the subject. We don’t “force” our students to perform our methods of tutoring. We adapt our methods to fit the learning method of each student. Academic Is the Key! ...

  • Deafness – covers kids who can't hear most or all sounds, even with a hearing aid.
  • Deaf-Blindness (DB) – covers kids with both severe hearing and vision loss that requires unique programs.
  • Emotional Disturbance (ED) – various mental health issues such as anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression.
